Video on The Haute Man

I’ve been reading thoughts and reviews of Proenza Schouler’s Spring 2011 RTW and I cannot comprehend any of the hate.  There are a few pieces I would remove and delete from memory, but overall I’m in adoration with Jack and Lazaro. The duo may have been going for a more mature look than previous seasons, but the collection still reflected what the cool girl in the city would give away her firstborn child to attain. The mixing of colors and prints that should clash come together perfectly. There were silk-chiffon tweeds and these whimsical, yet provocative, sheer house dresses and well-crafted jackets all around. The cast that included Abbey Lee, Anja, Hanne, Jac and Karolina – who recently transitioned back to runway – made this show even better. You have my congratulations, Jack and Lazaro, but will anyone else give it to you?
