Gisele is lovely and soft on the April cover of Vogue Paris, shot by Inez & Vinoodh. The white lace Dolce & Gabbana racks up another cover, and beautifully done. The cover is almost Vogue US-esque and looks like Testino shot it, yet I’m really liking the sweet simplicity of it all.

Gisele isn’t old by any means, but she certainly tapped into the Fountain of Youth. This is effortless, cool, and completely Hedi Slimane-chic, but the best part is that this is the Gisele from years ago. I haven’t seen a Gisele editorial this great in a long time. Her body is better than on point. Gorgeous.
On another note, can someone get me that Burberry Prorsum jacket? Salivating.

This time last year was the first issue of Vogue Turkey featuring the lovely Jessica Stam, and now a year later it’s all sex and glamor with Gisele. I haven’t been a fan recently of Gisele, I mean she’ll always have the perfect runway strut, but I guess there isn’t really any denying that she is the ultimate model, the supermodel. Well, my beloved Kate Moss is, but she has always been more or less the anti-supermodel, eh?
The washed-up hags of yesteryear can still bitch and moan, but she’s still going strong.
Work.

Hello, lovers! It’s been a while since I’ve written. Let’s start with a slew of covers for Muse, featuring Gisele, Jamie Bochert, Karen Elson, Isabeli, Malgosia Bela, Guinevere Van Seenus, and Carolyn Murphy. These are the magazine’s “modern muses” and take it how you like. My favorite of the covers has to be the the fare, and lovely Karen. From Karen’s modeling to her pretty music, I just love her. Such a striking, natural beauty. I’ll be posting her Vogue editorial shortly, too.
Also, where in the hell has Natasha been lately? She went all MIA on us for a while. While I’m at it, Carolyn’s cover, and I know a lot of people liked it, seems so in poor taste. She’s all, “give it to me, daddy,” and I don’t think I necessarily want it, no ma’am.

Prada, prada, prada, prada…PRADA. The very loud and bold Prada S/S 11 is reeking cover dominance already, this time on Vogue China. On the other hand, Gisele looks terribly sweet and just what I needed to see from her.

I don’t exactly know the right words used for this. What was I expecting in a campaign with a line full of exaggerated houndstooth, cocoon silhouettes, and transparent, sleek textiles? Nicolas had Gisele walk his show, maybe overshadowing the show at hand, and here she is in the campaign and looking tomboyish as ever in a wig not even Kim Zolciak would be caught dead wearing indoors. The image on the right is actually decent and something I would probably see in an obscure fashion publication. What I really don’t understand is that I’m on the edge of liking Gisele’s image. I want to hate it because it isn’t showing me anything appealing, but at the same time I am actually wanting more. Why do you do this to me?

Vogue lands Vogue Italia’s December 2010 issue and looking slightly wet and a lot like her old self. I’m craving this editorial with Meisel.

The first cover of 2011 of Vogue Nippon is revealed: Gisele and she doesn’t look busted. Congratulations, sexy lady. Now, can we reevaluate the husband’s hair? You hear that Tom Brady? Your hair sucks. I have this story in my head that Gisele only allows one great head of hair in the family and unfortunately it was Tom that had to look like Justin Bieber’s uncle whom is clinging on to youthfulness with luscious locks that turned out to make him look like even more of a douche bag. Congratulations, Gisele. I see straight through your plan.
Celebrating her 15 year career, Vogue Brazil places Gisele on their cover. The editorial is nothing exciting, vaguely sultry and va-va-voom. Gisele still shoots a mean session, but I can’t count how many times I’ve yawned looking at this. On the positive end, I love her flipped hair which reminds me of her Dolce & Gabbana fragrance ads and the shot of her magnificent posterior.
