Numero 117: Constance Jablonski

Thoughts, questions or concerns?

Eeeek. Cringeworthy and unintentionally ridiculous/awesome at the same time. Can this even be considered blackface? I know Constance is pretty fair-skinned, so she just could be really bronzed with just a black child, right? Right?

Vogue Germany: Constance Jablonski

The cover is a mash-up of i-D and Vogue Nippon, but I can live with this literal interpretation of her doing the Fall collections editorial. Below is that editorial, the second will be posted later.

This editorial has some of my favorites of the season. Some photos are really hit or miss, but most shots capture such pleasant movement and flow, giving a whole new representation to that water-color Louis Vuitton gown. The Balmain mini is shown with more detail than what I’ve seen before, and paired with that fur is terribly gorgeous.

Fashion photographer Terry Richardson consistently has a sexual feel to his photo shoots, and this latest one is no different. His latest shoot is ‘New York Portraits’  for Purple and features Eniko Mihalik, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Lydia Hearst, Irina Lazareanu and Contance Jablonski. Sexy, playful, and fun, Terry captures all of these adjectives within his shoots and his subject matter. Check out the rest after the cut. Warning: NSFW. Contains non-shocking models’ breasts.
