Making of Givenchy Haute Couture

Dead. Dying. Gone.

The craftsmanship is masterful and precise; otherworldly.

Numéro May 2011: Abbey Lee

I really cherish Karl Lagerfeld. He’s a glistening diamond in the rough, but whenever he brings models into his crowd, they change severely. Abbey was so adorable before this gaunt, bleached out phase she’s going through now. Sure, she looks wonderful on the cover in my favorite flowing Lanvin, but I really just want to caress her now, peroxide white, thin locks and tell her to go back to the lovely Abbey we once all knew and loved.

Major Suiting: Leebo, Dan Kling, Paolo Roldan

Leebo Freeman is a fine, fine man. I don’t care who knows what I think. And what beautiful Givenchy, I might add. Both the leopard print and the tailoring of the pants are making me salivate.

Vogue Brazil: Kate Moss

I don’t care what any of you say, Kate’s my goddess and I bow at her and will make every post about her if I must.

And breathe…

Kate is sexy, she’s glamorous, and sealed with a kiss. I’m curious if those are her real tattoos, because I wasn’t aware that she had any, nor should they even exist.

Vogue Japan June 2011: Naomi

That Gucci dress may be on cover after cover, but there’s no denying Naomi.

True model. True icon.

Vogue Paris May 2011: Kate Moss

Na-na-na diva is a female version of a hustla’…

Kate Moss, in Armani Privé,  once again looks effortless and glamorous while being grabbed by from all angles. While not the most innovative cover for Emmanuelle Alt, you can’t dismiss Moss’s beauty. Also, I’ve included some previews to this issue, and we have Freja, Sasha, Karmen, and even Julia Stegner by Inez & Vinoodh. Dying for more.

Vogue UK May 2011: Lara, Natalia, Freja

Glowing, perfection, ethereal goddesses. This is how I can describe these three covers in the wedding-themed UK Vogue. Testino shot Lara, Natalia, and Freja perfectly as light, lovely ladies. Many people had a problem with Lara’s expression, but  I don’t believe she could be any more pretty and fare-skinned and soft. The three do have this sort of dewy complexion about them that is rather perfect.

Neroli Portofino by Tom Ford

Tom Ford does sexy best, and here in his Neroli Portofino fragrance campaign is not different. Tom Ford isn’t one to shy away from scandalous advertising: his previous use of porn stars for models and incessant emphasis on sex comes to mind. Who wouldn’t want their very own drenched Max (or Mariana)?  Playful and sexy, I believe this campaign does justice.

Will Be Back Shortly…

Hello, lovers. I’ve been gone for quite some time, and have actually surpassed 100,000 views since I’ve been gone (Kelly Clarkson-style). I’ve been going through a lot of things and stressing out over others, so we’ll be back shortly, kitty cats.

p.s.

Any adorable model types in the Chicago/Indianapolis area, come to me, gentlemen.

And a photo of myself today for your thoughts. $12 oversized T and a $20 oversized, striped knit. All from H&M.
