Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2010

Will you tune in at 10/9c on CBS? I’ll be watching for Jessica Stam, Anja Rubik, Lily Donaldson, Constance Jablonski, Karolina, and maybe Magdalena. The Angels and models strut tonight with Katy Perry and Akon.

Candice Does Copenhagen

Besides the fact she has an amazing pair of breasts and shapely ass, I don’t really see her point in modeling. Testino is saying that she could be the next big thing, and I don’t particularly see why anyone would want that. She has pretty eyes and is probably really nice, but nothing terribly interesting to make me want to look at. For instance, Kate Moss has made modeling an art, this girl is just something hot to look at. I guess I can live with the perfectly tanned and killer body. With that being said, her co-stars are something delicious to look at. The sex appeal here is pumping, so if that’s what Testino is going for, congratulations. Job well done.

Vogue Italia: Gisele

Vogue lands Vogue Italia’s December 2010 issue and looking slightly wet and a lot like her old self. I’m craving this editorial with Meisel.

Elle Russia: Monkey & Bags

Fine, fresh, fierce, slaying all your favorites, etc. This monkey knows how haute it is with its Dior and Fendi bags and cluthches.

Vogue Paris: Pussy West

In Tom Ford’s issue of Vogue Paris, Crystal Renn, Abbey Lee, and Eniko Mihalik star as outlaws in Pussy West, a wild west wonderland referencing Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill! and probably Back to the Future’s DeLorean. What fantastical usage of Givenchy HC and Louis Vuitton Fall 2010. This is one group of outlaws I’d thoroughly running into trouble with.

**Outtake includes Tom Ford and Terry Richardson laying one on each other. Awkward or oddly sexy? I’ll go with awkward.

Vogue Nippon: Gisele

The first cover of 2011 of Vogue Nippon is revealed: Gisele and she doesn’t look busted. Congratulations, sexy lady. Now, can we reevaluate the husband’s hair? You hear that Tom Brady? Your hair sucks. I have this story in my head that Gisele only allows one great head of hair in the family and unfortunately it was Tom that had to look like Justin Bieber’s uncle whom is clinging on to youthfulness with luscious locks that turned out to make him look like even more of a douche bag. Congratulations, Gisele. I see straight through your plan.

Snejana, of course.

Vogue Korea: Sasha P

The perfect reuse of images makes for a perfect end-of-year cover.

Vogue Paris: Daphne Groeneveld & Tom Ford

Look what we came across. So the girl gets her cover after all with Tom Ford at that. I’m not sure how I feel about this 15-year-old girl yet. She certainly has risen quite quickly being casted in Givenchy Haute Couture and not to mention the Miu Miu campaign and endless runways for Spring, yet I still can’t help but feel she’s slightly undeveloped, like she needs to be put back in her mother’s uterus. I don’t know. I’ll leave feedback once the HQ cover has leaked or released, not to mention what editorial Vogue Paris has in store for us. I’m still not fully warmed up to Wixson, so this creature may take awhile.

**Why is Tom creeping in the background?

Harper’s Bazaar: Crystal Renn

I have never particularly been a fan of Crystal Renn, something about her face may have bothered me, but she certainly looks great in the latest Harper’s Bazaar. Let’s face it, if the girl can fit into sample sizes, she in no way can be considered plus-size, but regardless of the fact, people will be talking and hating whether she goes up a few or down a few in dress sizes. I will never understand this. She has overcome an eating disorder and has been comfortable speaking about such; trying I suppose to be a sort of an advocate. Everyone seemingly gets into a rage whenever she loses weight, but who made it her job to always be that plus-size model? Who says she can’t be healthy and happy? If these things result in her being thin, why should people criticize this? Sure it may seem a bit humorous and slightly crass to defend a girl losing weight, but what it all comes down to is that she has to defend herself being healthy and exercising regularly. The fact is that the girl is a successful model and she’ll get support whatever bracket she seems to be representing.
